this "time really flies" one!

Cubby turned 11 months today and all I can do is shake my head in sheer disbelief and keep repeating time really DOES fly! :)

You have become such a big boy! I mean one more month and we will stop talking about your age in months and start talking in Years! Yes, THAT big!

Everyday you seem to change a little bit more managing to make me laugh in pure delight or pull out my hair in sheer exasperation.

In the last month you figured out how to sit down when standing. So no more crying when you get stuck standing! You have got quite a grip too now. Try getting away when you are clinging to our legs. We need to get some different pajamas to wear at home pronto if we want to save our "laaj" 'coz you really pull those pajamas hard! :p

You have resolutely refuted all my attempts to make you understand which is your nose and where are you ears or what sound this cow make and what does a lion look like. Your whole attitude is as long I know how to use them, what the the big deal. As for rest of the gyaan you seem to manage to just ignore me completely as if I am talking in to thin air!

You still LOVE having people around and you charm their pants off within minutes of them seeing you! Like your Vee taiji says, you are a perfect advertisement to have babies!

You KNOW which side of your bread is buttered. So, the moment you see breakfast plate in daadu's hand, off you go and stand by his beanbag and insist on sharing the food. The spice factor does not seem to make any difference to you! If daadu's breakfast is khatam you will come to the next victim! :p

You LOVE showing off your recently acquired mobility by using the walker. You have also started taking l'il steps with support near the sofa or from one chair to another!

You ENJOY music and dance! It's so cute to see your hands start moving as soon as you hear a rhythmic song! If you are standing you try to tap your feet too! :) You love clapping your hands to lakdi ki kaathi as many times as I sing it with my silly actions!

You have started crawling! Yes! Just when we would think you will NOT crawl now that it's almost time to walk, you started your cute crawl and have already gained considerable speed. It does look nicer than the previous elbow supported creeping! :D

You seem to enjoy listening to stories a little more because you are sleeping AFTER at least one story is over and not DURING the first one!

Your fascination for footwear is unending. I though by now you must have touched enough chappals, but nopes! An unguarded chappal and off you are like a rocket!

You PREFER eating food off the floor. We give you a piece of chapati to eat and you will drop most of it. Play around and come back to eat it... EVERY little piece. I just sigh and say at least he is eating food! :p

That said your LOVE for paper is undeniable. You just love nibbling off the newspapers, tissues, flyers... whatever! It's been a tough job keeping it away from you and pulling out small pieces you hide is farthest corner of your mouth!

You still can't say anything close to Mama, Mommy, Mumma... you get the drift! This is quite annoying when you have said Papa AND daddy!! :( That said, it's a miracle you respond to your name conisdering I call you all sorta weird names starting from poochka to golipi to dhumkichi and what not! :D

I never thought I would have a dozen new things to say about you within a months time!

You are absolutely adorable and seeing you achieve little things and noticing that YOU notice them too is just so much fun!
