this is how i look

when I am about to have a good cry!

with all those lovely comments all you people leave talking about my smile, I ofcos feel very flattered! But then I am fairly normal and cry pretty easily! I remember most of my friends were clearly shocked when they saw me crying for the first time! "You cry??!" isn't the first question you expect when you are shedding tears. C'est la vie.

So here's once in a lifetime opportunity of seeing me cry. Till you meet me actually. Once you know me, then it won't be a rare occurrence.

This is in Lucknow. Had got out for sight seeing with M and mama and realized had forgotten to take the camera - one job M had given me! He got really upset and thats all it takes for me to start sniffling and then bawling! :p

Thankfully it was a bright and sunny day and the camera in M's N72 was almost as good.

The smile that was begged for. Still not sure if it was OK to smile!

A girl always needs some retail therapy!

And if its shoes all the more better! (totally cute miniature jootis i picked for everyone at work)

And the smile will definitely start coming back!

Add a fun tanga ride to the entire equation

and we are back to being the lovin couple!

How do you guys patao each other after a fight?! :D

how very out of contextly used photos. that is NOT the order in which it happened! but yes, had you not cried, i may not have allowed you to buy a sackful of jootis! that guy sits there to rip-off innocent firangs, not 'native' nawabs!!

thank you for pataoing me before the sulk turns into sulk and sulk and sulk. you the bestest :x

how come none of your readers appreciated the fact that like a true tourist, i was busy with capturing the "almost cried" moment instead of following the solemnity of that tense moment...

???

Avanti Sané said...

aww..dont cry abha...me no like :(

and tell vidooshak I did appreciate the "true touristy" nature of that pic ..hehe..

how do we make up?...a quiet hug given from behind usually does the trick ...plus it means everything from "im sorry" to "i forgive you "to "fuck it, lifes too short for these spats"....complete solution...highly recommend it..

Hey you look better with a smile ..don't look good with almost crying kinda expression.

Patao depends on the topic of fight ,if that trivial , he hugs and patao me after sometime , or sometimes we just ignore the fight and become normal. But when its something serious , it involves , sulking , crying , more sulking , saying sorries etc etc.

loved the way you made a story out of the pics.

There is no fixed pataoing style here at our home, it keeps on changing depending on what we are getting annoyed about. But most pataoing is done by D :D

Mamma mia! Me a mamma? said...

How sweet! And you look lovely even when you cry! Nothing like retail therapy!

And there's no pataoing in this household...self sulks and binges, while the other resorts to emotional blackmail. It's a wicked, evil circle, I tell you!

I say that full marks goes to Vidooshak for being right on time ;-) vaise we prefer a smiling you always!!
As for making up, well its not my cup of tea!! A does most of it! The best I can do is to make faces, cook, hug and try to make him smile!

G said...

cho chweet! It was smart of u to use the chance to shop! :D As for how we patao each other, we sulk for a little while and then a warm little hug is enough to forget it all ...

Anu said...

Tum rote hue bilkul acchi nahi lagti..me like the smiling Abha :))
Hey, but when it comes to H i used to behave like this early on..abhi thoda sudhar gayi hoon..As far as pataooing goes, its mostly H who makes up, i am the super sulker :))

Aww..how cute! You look cute even when you are about to cry. Your hubby mustnt have been that mad as he took a pic of that almost-crying face :) And your retial therapy is ekdum zabardast. Look at you, sitting comfortably there and choosing the lovely jooti's. I wish I was working in your office!
