Designs on me for Valentines Day!

So what did we do this Valentines day? Usually we are pretty clueless and last year we actually forgot about it. This year...

and then went to a tattoo parlour to get meself a tattoo!

It is still getting healed, so I don't have a clearer and nicer picture. This is with M's camera phone. I have wanted a tattoo for the longest time. When I told my dad, he said "Finally! Your long standing wish is getting fulfilled! Make sure the needles are new!" My mom freaked out just as I thought she would! :D It is indeed heartening to see some thing don't change. Hehe!

Finally found this guy to get it done from. Came reccoed from coupla friends and a totally worthy recco I must say. Ofcos this being my first tattoo, I am no expert, but I felt comfortable with him, he had a steady hand and the tattoo looked exactly the way I though it would. The place was neat and clean, they opened a new needle in front of me and gave em to me as souvenir once done thus reassuring me that they don't get reused.

M first decided to wait downstairs but then came up to the studio to "hold my hands" through the pain and was thoroughly disappointed at my lack of screaming and crying! :p

Cubby has been touching it, pointing to the nappy the devil is wearing and saying "Naappy!" followed with "Niicce!" in his characteristic style.

Me, I am just waiting for this week to get over so that it's completely healed and i don't have to hide it under the Neosporin powder I sprinkle generously to avoid infection. And no, there are no deep thoughts behind the design. I just thought it was cute! :D There was definitely a thought behind the place... ankle is the only part of my body that at this point of time that doesn't jiggle! :p Logical, Nahi?! :p

Thanks M! For the AWESOME gift! :) Love ya more than you know or can imagine. But then you DO know, don't ya?! :)

a forward too cute to resist!

So i got this forward from a mail and i though it was too cute to be missed! And since Cubby has entered our lives, I know time flies faster than before. So even though I think his homework days are far away, i know before long, I will be facing the H word! Have a good laugh!

I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer. I work at Home Depot and I told my daughter how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out every single shovel we had, and then I found one more in the back room, and that several people were fighting over who would get it. Her picture doesn't show me dancing around a pole. It's supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot.From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in.

And while I am doing the mommy bit, leme shock Muthalik by telling him that Mommies also believe in Pink Chaddis and all that they stand for! I am verry tickled with the fact that M.Muthalik is now gonna be in Dharwad and Belgaum instead of Bengaluru as per his original plan. I am guessing he got scared the bengaluru hoodgas and hoodgis might just make him wear a huge garland... made with what else, but Pink Chaddis! :p
